Clenergy had recently made a contribution to the Its Time Foundation to help kids in Pacific island schools. Clenergy is supplying its solar terrace racking system to 2 schools in the Northern Fijian Islands. The solar system donations are made possible by the generosity of many companies in the Solar Industry and Clenergy is pleased to participate in this worthy cause. When the installation completed it will replace the expensive to run, unreliable and environmentally unfriendly diesel generators. The Solar powered system will enable the school to use their very limited funding to buy books and other badly needed items for the children rather than powering the school.  This can effectively increase some schools resources budget by more than 20% (excluding teachers’ wages).

Students and teachers in Kioa Island Primary and Navatu Junior Secondary School are now eagerly awaiting the 12 panel solar system that will be installed early next year. Once installed, it will reduce carbon dioxide emissions and create new education opportunities.

The Its Time Foundation was founded in 2007, it aims to deliver renewable energy solutions to low-income communities. Clenergy is proud to be associated. A little help could make a big difference.
